AHA HEARTSAVER INSTRUCTOR COURSE

Class Price: $449.00

This is NOT a virtual class over Zoom. The class is conducted in a face-to-face classroom setting.

Who should take this course?

This course is intended for those who want to teach Heartsaver courses to certify others, such as staff or the community.

  • Online Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Course
  • Heartsaver Instructor Manual
  • Heartsaver Student Manual
  • Alignment with our training center
  • Initial Class Monitoring. Done during this class and good for 2 years.

As an AHA Heartsaver Instructor, you'll be able to teach the following AHA class types:

  • Heartsaver CPR/AED
  • Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED
  • Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED
  • Heartsaver for K-12 Schools
  • Heartsaver First Aid Only
  • Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens

You will also be able to:

  • Teach at your place of employment or outside work by holding your own classes.
  • Ability to issue certification cards to students.
  • Post your classes on the AHA class locator.
  • Teach anywhere in the US.

Steps for the class:

  • Complete the Heratsaver Instructor Essentials Online Course. The registration confirmation email will include a link to your online course.
  • Attend the instructor course.
  • You are required to bring a person with you on the day of the class to participate in your initial monitoring. This will be conducted in the afternoon, and they will receive a free Heartsver certification. Click HERE for more information. You will also be provided with more information in the confirmation email. (NOTE: If this is an issue, please reach out before registering).
You must have a current AHA Heartsaver certification or AHA BLS certification at the time of your class. No other programs are accepted (Example: Red Cross).
If you do not have a current AHA Heartsaver certification, you can add the certification and complete it during the instructor course. When becoming an AHA instructor, other non-AHA certifications are not accepted.
